Progression Through the Program

Students complete 123 credit hours of degree requirements. Full-time students complete the BSPH Program in 4 years. Coursework includes successful completion of 15 required courses, including a 2-semester capstone course. Students must maintain a major GPA of 2.5 to progress in the major and an overall GPA of 2.0 to graduate.

Plan of Study: Scope and Sequence of Bachelor of Science in Public Health Program

The BSPH Curriculum incorporates three elements: University core, elective, and required courses. Courses generally run over 15 weeks in the fall and spring semesters and 7 to 10 weeks in the summer session. The following section details the length of the academic units in courses and credit hours organized in the curricular structures of University core, elective, and required courses.
