H. Lyman Stebbins, Ph.D.

Lyman Stebbins is an historian of Modern Britain and the British Empire, Modern Iran, and the Middle East. His research examines various dimensions of the Anglo-Iranian encounter including diplomacy, trade, war, law, and culture. His work has been supported by the University of Chicago Nicholson Center for British Studies, the American Institute of Iranian Studies, the Lawforms project at the University of Exeter, and La Salle University.
