Whether cheering on for her favorite sports teams or debating the newest public policy, Kelly Madden Daily enjoys a good competition. Wanting to know things before anyone else led her to a career in journalism. She now combines her love of media with her passion for teaching.

Kelly teaches courses related to mass media, persuasion, and health communication. Her research focuses on the influence of media coverage on health decisions, especially the decision to get vaccinated.

Kelly loves being a mom to her baby girl Nora, who was born two days after Villanova (Dr. Daily’s alma mater) won the national championship in men’s basketball. Kelly and her husband Steve are also teaching Nora to be an avid Penn State football/Philadelphia sports fan.
