Nutrition Professors Share Their Expertise

Lisa Laura, JD, RN, LDN, assistant professor of nutrition recently spoke at the Philadelphia Society for Parental Enteral Nutrition’s fall meeting. She led two roundtable discussions on running a private practice. Two nutrition students, Natalie Gibson and Jacqueline Cost, also attended the meeting.

Elizabeth Emery, MS, RD, CNSC, LDN, spoke to a group of second-year medical students at Cooper Medical School at Rowan University on maldigestion and malabsorption in gatrointestinal disease.

Susan Adams, MS, RD, LDN, assistant professor of nutrition presented at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Food and Nutrition Conference and Exposition on October 22, 1013 in Houston, Texas. She was an invited speaker and presented her research on “Millennials Dietitians and Students” Breaking Through Stereotypes.” She also served as a delegate for Pennsylvania at the meeting. She also served as a panelist on a discussion of the film, “A Place at the Table,” a documentary on food insecurity.
