Summer STEAM Enrichment Camp

Out of This World: To Boldly Go Where No One Has Gone Before!

Embark on an epic intergalactic adventure as we journey to the final frontier, outer space! At the La Salle STEAM Enrichment Camp, students will explore the dynamic solar system, visiting the vibrant planets and galaxies far, far away through science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. From uncovering the mysteries of asteroids to mapping constellations, campers will tackle questions like how long it takes to reach the moon and could humans really live on Mars. This La Salle STEAM camp will spark creativity and curiosity, inspiring young explorers to reach for the stars and beyond!

The La Salle STEAM Summer Enrichment Camp offers all students entering 1st – 9th grade (as of September 2025) inclusive, engaging, and integrated learning experiences across all subject areas. Supervised by university faculty, our teachers are prepared to differentiate instruction to maximize each child’s learning and success, motivating students to want to learn through hands-on, indoor, and outdoor activities using evidence-based practices. Students will have opportunities to play games, explore, create and make art, learn new sports, and practice personal wellness techniques as a part of their camp experience.

Registration

Registration for the La Salle STEAM Summer Camp opens on Friday, March 7, 2025. All forms and payment are due Friday, June 6, 2025. Families can register by submitting one of the following:

  2. A completed hard copy Registration form, which can be submitted by:
    • Email: summerenrichment@lasalle.edu, scanned or digitally filled out.

Highlights

  • All CDC Guidelines and mitigation efforts will be followed to ensure the safety of all participants in the camp.
  • All students entering 1st – 9th grade as of September 2025 are welcome to register for La Salle’s STEAM Summer Enrichment Camp, regardless of ability level or experience.
  • Teachers are prepared to differentiate instruction to maximize each child’s learning and success, motivating students to want to learn through interactive experiences. These enrichment experiences are curated to engage students at their grade level using evidence-based practices.
  • Campers will identify problems, brainstorm solutions, conduct experiments, create and innovate, practice personal wellness, tell stories, make art, meet special guests, and much more!
  • The summer camp is fully staffed. La Salle faculty are on-hand daily to support student learning.
  • Campers will have opportunities to learn strategies for conflict resolutions.
  • Writers Matter is a co-sponsor of La Salle’s STEAM Summer Enrichment Camp and will provide campers with opportunities to learn critical writing skills. Campers will craft personal narratives having their voices heard as well listen to other campers’ voices fostering more tolerance and appreciation of others.
