DArt, Marketing, and IT Juniors Take First Place in Vanguard Competition
Three juniors—Salvatore Sansone (DArt/MGT), Christine Bernard (MKT, DArt), and Keyona Polk (IT/CSC)—coached by Peggy McCoey, Director of CIS and IT Graduate Programs, took first place in Vanguard's Mini-Case Competition on October 8. The second-place team consisted of three students from the School of Business: Samantha Rose (ACC), Anh Nguyen (FIN), and Jessica Bachinsky (MKT). All together four teams faced off in a competition that required each to interpret what an organization needs to foster loyalty among its employees and customers. Dean Henry, La Salle trustee,Vanguard principal, and one of the three competition judges, commented upon the poise and preparedness of the teams, given that it was the first competition for the participating students.
