Both policies can be found in the Student Guide to Rights, Resources, and Responsibilities.
Individuals who report allegations that could constitute covered sexual harassment under these policies, including allegations of dating violence, domestic violence, sexual violence, and stalking, have the right to receive supportive and protective measures and accommodations from the University. As appropriate, supportive and protective measures and accommodations may include, but not be limited to:
Title IX Coordinator: The Title IX Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the University’s efforts to comply with and carry out its responsibilities under Title IX, including the coordination of training, education, communication, and administration of grievance procedures for employees, students, and other members of the University community by the Deputy Title IX Coordinators. The Title IX Coordinator acts as the central repository of the University’s efforts in meeting its compliance responsibilities under Title IX. The Title IX Coordinator, in coordination with the Vice President of Human Resources, administers the grievance procedures for all complaints against employees, including complaints filed by students. The Title IX Coordinator receives all Formal Complaints of Sexual Harassment under Title IX.
Deputy Title IX Coordinators: The Deputy Title IX Coordinators are the reporting heads of the major divisions of the University and have specific compliance duties as stated below.
For students: Vice President of Student Development & Campus Life. The Vice President of Student Development & Campus Life is responsible for Title IX compliance in matters involving students, including training, education, communication, and administration of the grievance procedures for all complaints against La Salle students involving allegations of sexual harassment, including sexual misconduct and sexual violence, or unequal participation in social and extracurricular activities at the University. The division is also responsible for Title IX training programs for employees. The Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Title IX Complaints Involving Student Respondents receives all Formal Complaints of Sexual Harassment under Title IX against La Salle University students.
For University employees: Vice President of Human Resources. The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for Title IX compliance in matters related to employment and, in coordination with the Title IX Coordinator, administers the grievance procedures for all complaints against employees and visitors, including complaints filed by students. The Deputy Title IX Coordinator for University Employees receives all Formal Complaints of Sexual Harassment under Title IX against La Salle University Employees.
