*Applicants with little to no background in computer science or related disciplines are encouraged to apply, however, they may be required to complete foundational coursework to ensure sufficient academic preparation. La Salle University does not discriminate against any applicant based upon race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, national origin or ancestry, citizenship, sexual preference or orientation, marital, parental, family, and pregnancy status, gender identity, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any prohibited basis. Admission is based solely upon an applicant’s qualifications.
An applicant may request the transfer of graduate credit(s) earned at another institution. Each request will be evaluated on its own merits. Grades accepted for transfer must be “B” or better. The student must supply a course description and syllabus in order to facilitate the transfer of credit. After matriculation at La Salle, students must have a course pre-approved by the director (in conjunction with the appropriate faculty member(s)) for it to be considered for transfer purposes. A maximum of six credits on the graduate level will be accepted for transfer purposes.
International students may take this program in the online format, however, the program does not meet the requirements set by the United States to allow applicants to qualify for a student visa (“F” status). For international students considering the online format for the program, the application needs to include the International Credit Evaluation of the transcripts, along with a statement of financial responsibility and an original copy of TOEFL scores. Students must request for the International Credit Evaluation service to send the evaluation directly to La Salle University.
