Dr. Angelina Shinn, DNP, APRN, CRNA

Dr. Angelina Shinn, DNP, APRN, CRNA, is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and nurse anesthesia educator dedicated to cultivating the next generation of highly skilled providers. A former graduate of the Frank J Tornett School of Nurse Anesthesia/La Salle University, she currently practices clinically with Virtua Medical Group at Virtua Voorhees, where she has delivered safe, evidence-based anesthesia care across diverse and high-acuity patient populations.

Driven by her personal experience with the rigorous nature of nurse anesthesia education, Dr. Shinn is deeply passionate about mentoring Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs). Her educational background includes delivering specialized lectures and designing high-fidelity simulation courses that sharpen critical thinking, crisis management, and clinical decision-making. Her teaching philosophy centers on collaboration, constructive reflection, and building student resilience. As a program leader, Dr. Shinn blends rigorous clinical standards with a supportive environment to help students transition into confident, compassionate, and excellent CRNAs.
