Dr. Ken GoldĀ is a licensed clinical psychologist with over twenty years of experience in private practice. He specializes in the assessment and treatment of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as providing general psychotherapy and neuropsychological assessment for adolescents and adults.
Dr. Gold has served as an adjunct faculty member in the Psy.D. program for over two decades. He currently teaches several Psy.D. assessment courses, including PSY 709, 710, 730, and 757. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he supervises the Anxiety Clinic Team and has formerly supervised the General Mood Clinic Team. He likewise previously directed the LUCPS clinic. He also serves as a committee member of selected Psy.D. dissertations.
His research interests include the neurophysiology of PTSD, ADHD, and other mental disorders, neuropsychological assessment of TBI, and the integration of mindfulness-based and psychodynamic approaches in clinical practice.
