Kris Ralph, M.S. CCC-SLP

Kristopher Ralph is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with more than a decade of experience spanning clinical practice, higher education, rehabilitation leadership, and clinical education. He currently serves as Clinic Director of the La Salle University Speech-Language-Hearing Community Clinics, where he oversees the daily operations of the university’s adult and pediatric clinics, supports graduate student clinical training, and helps develop community partnerships that expand access to speech-language pathology services throughout the Philadelphia region.

Prior to joining La Salle University, Kris worked extensively in acute care and subacute rehabilitation settings, providing assessment and treatment for adults with communication, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. He has also served in rehabilitation leadership roles, including Director of Rehabilitation Services, where he managed interdisciplinary teams and coordinated patient-centered care across a variety of healthcare settings.

In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Kris teaches undergraduate and Pre-SLP coursework in communication sciences and disorders. His teaching focuses on connecting foundational knowledge to clinical practice while fostering critical thinking, professionalism, and a commitment to lifelong learning. He is passionate about mentoring future speech-language pathologists and supporting students as they develop into competent and compassionate clinicians.

Kris’s professional interests include clinical supervision, dysphagia management, tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent populations, cognitive-communication disorders, and innovative approaches to clinical education. He is also interested in expanding access to speech-language pathology services through community outreach initiatives and partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, and local organizations.

He maintains professional certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds speech-language pathology licenses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
