Lindsay Ouellette, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor

Lindsay Ouellette received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Temple University. As an Assistant Professor of Psychology at La Salle University, Dr. Ouellette teaches Statistics, Research Methods, and Industrial-Organizational Psychology.

Dr. Ouellette’s research focuses on human-robot interaction, particularly how people perceive, respond to, and adapt to robots and other emerging technologies. Her work examines the human side of technological change, with a growing focus on the adoption of robotics in real-world settings and the future of work.

In addition to her academic research, Dr. Ouellette writes about the relationship between people and technology for a broader public audience, exploring how emerging technologies move from novelty to becoming part of everyday life and work.

Dr. Ouellette also holds an M.S.Ed. in Mental Health and School Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.F.A. in Modern Dance Performance from the University of the Arts.
