Rolling Application Deadlines

Applications are reviewed as soon as they are completed and decisions are made throughout the admission cycle until all available spots are filled. Students may start for Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter.

We will continue to review completed applications after the posted deadline as space and time permit. Please reach out to grad@lasalle.edu for more information.

Summer 1 – May 10

Summer 2 – July 1

Fall 1 – August 10

Fall 2 – October 10

Winter – December 1

Spring 1 – December 10

Spring 2 – March 1

Admission Requirements

  1. A completed application
  2. Official transcript(s) from an accredited college/university where you earned your bachelor’s degree and, if applicable, master’s degree. If you are in the process of completing your undergraduate coursework, you may submit transcripts with courses that are in progress. If admitted, we must receive your final, official transcript with the degree conferred date. You will be notified if you need to submit additional transcripts.
    • In order for a transcript to be official, it must be received directly from the higher education institution or through an official third-party service such as Parchment or the National Student Clearinghouse. Transcripts received from applicants and/or an unapproved third party will be considered unofficial.
    • An overall GPA of 3.0 or hold an existing master’s degree.  For a GPA below 3.0, applicants may be required to submit additional documentation to support the application profile. (e.g., Graduate Record Examination General Test (GRE) or Miller’s Analogies Test (MAT), interview, praxis test, etc.).
  3. Two (2) letters of recommendation from an academic and/or a professional reference who can address the candidate’s ability and motivation
  4. Provisionally meet the criteria, both academic and professional, for Candidacy for Teaching Certification

Optional Admission Requirements

  • Interview, if requested by the program.
  • Resume/CV, if requested by the program.
  • Essay/Personal Statement, if requested by the program.
