Public Safety
La Salle’s mission is to ensure that your time spent at college is transformative but also safe. o Our Public Safety Department is committed to supporting that mission by providing safety services 24 hours a day, year-round. Creating a “culture of safety”, our primary goal, requires community involvement. We actively engage with our students, faculty and staff in creating and maintaining an environment where we can live, learn and work safely.
The Public Safety Department is responsible for protecting life and property, identifying and mitigating risks to safety, detecting crime, and responding to calls for assistance. We work closely with Residence Life and Community Development, the Philadelphia Police Department, and other La Salle and community resources to develop strategies to optimize safety and services.

Sexual Violence and Title IX
Sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and sexual harassment are serious offenses that are prohibited by Title IX and that La Salle University will not tolerate.
