President Allen began his tenure as La Salle University’s 30th President on April 18, 2022.
In May 2023, the Board of Trustees approved the university’s new strategic plan, Ascend 2023-2028. The six pillars in the plan will set La Salle on the path to be the leading Lasallian educational institution, rooted in the liberal arts and aligned with emerging industries, that prepares students for the challenges and complexities of living and working in a diverse democracy and global society.

Univest Financial Corporation and La Salle University have entered into a multi‑year partnership that designates Univest as the Official Banking Partner of La Salle University and secures naming rights for the University’s primary athletics facility, now to be known as the Univest Financial Fieldhouse.
The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University and La Salle University have entered into a transfer agreement to transition the Center’s operations to The Nonprofit Center, a new Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation operating under fiscal sponsorship of TriCounty Community Network, Inc. effective immediately.
