Education
B.A. Psychology, M.A. Clinical-Counseling Psychology, Psy.D. Clinical Psychology – La Salle University; Internship: La Salle University Community Center for Counseling & Psychological Services; Post Doctoral Fellowship: Community Treatment Solutions of New Jersey; Post Doctoral Fellowship: Cooper University Hospital, Cooper Cancer Institute; Licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania

Clinical Interests
I am interested in the application of cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing approaches to psychotherapy with those suffering from physiological illness.  My clinical work involves individual and group psychotherapy with both inpatient and outpatient oncology patients and I enjoy working with women cancer survivors who are experiencing sexual dysfunction, body image issues, difficulty adjusting to changing life roles, relationship problems, etc.

Research Interests
My research interests are focused on health behaviors in general and, more specifically, on the psychosocial issues experienced by oncology patients.  I am primarily interested in looking at the effects of chemotherapy and radiation on women’s sexual functioning, self-esteem, cognitive functioning, body image, etc.  La Salle Psy.D. students are currently conducting psycho-oncology research projects with me at Cooper Cancer Institute and there may be opportunities for students to get involved as research assistants.  I am also involved as a committee member on a number of doctoral dissertations that are being conducted both at Cooper and elsewhere.
