Arrival and Move-In Information
Move-In Dates: August 24, 2026 International student move-in for the upcoming semester is on August 24. We strongly encourage you to arrive on this date so you can settle in and take full advantage of orientation activities starting on August 25.
Early Arrival Option If your travel plans require an earlier arrival, limited early check-in options may be available. Please contact Alisa Macksey (macksey@lasalle.edu), Kimberly Taylor Benns (taylorbenns@lasalle.edu), or Zuri Wells (wellsz1@lasalle.edu) to discuss before making arrangements.
Upon Arrival in the U.S.
Travel Itinerary To ensure a seamless transition to campus you are required to submit your travel itinerary through your student portal, this will let us know when and where to greet you!
Customs & Immigration Keep your passport, visa, and I-20/DS-2019 form handy. We recommend having a printed copy of your admission letter, housing assignment, and contact information from the University just in case.
International Student Orientation Orientation begins on August 25 and is mandatory for all new international students. Orientation is designed to help you transition into life at La Salle University and in the United States. During orientation, you will have the opportunity to:
Learn about immigration and visa requirements and expectations
Become familiar with campus resources and services
Explore Philadelphia and become familiar with your new community
Learn more about cultural adjustment and life in the United States
Make friends and meet key University staff and faculty
