Explorer Athletics is going from strength to strength with the introduction of three new teams and the reintroduction of the baseball program.
Under Turner Gray’s vision, La Salle’s pep band continues to grow providing the energy for the Explorers and the Glaser Arena.
The men’s and women’s soccer teams both qualified for the A10 Tournament in the 2025-26 season. Both teams made it to the quarterfinals.
Two women’s players received Atlantic 10 Honors for their seasons: Kayden Williams, ’29, being named to the All-Rookie Team and Alexis Garcia, ’28, being named to the All-Academic Team. Men’s soccer player Julius de Vries, ’29, was also honored by the Atlantic 10 for the season, and named to the Philly Soccer Six Top XI Team.
La Salle’s Triathlon team had a strong inaugural season with six student-athletes being sent to the National Championships in Tempe, Arizona. Two of the athletes finished in the top half of all competitors in the championship race.
Cross-country runner Gwenno Goode, ’27, started her 2025-26 season as strong as she finished the prior one, qualifying for the NCAA cross-country championships. The junior came 152nd in the race and beat her time from last year by 17 seconds.
