La Salle University recognizes the work and time college requires and the challenges students may face along the way. For students who have paused their college journey, La Salle provides support when they are ready to return. Students often only need to complete a few courses to earn an associate degree, putting them on the path to growing their career and reaching their goals.
Through Credits to Credentials (C2C), former students who completed substantial coursework but did not earn a credential are invited to return to complete an associate degree. Eligible students will receive a defined part-time roadmap toward completing requirements and individualized advising along the way.
La Salle offers associate degrees in:
Some students may have already completed the requirements for an associate degree from La Salle and are eligible to have that degree formally conferred. Students who received notification from us should complete the degree conferral form to make it official.
With each degree earned, La Salle students empower themselves for a successful future.
Earning an associate degree:
Yes. This is an official initiative of La Salle University, led through La Salle’s Campos School. We are committed to supporting degree completion. You are welcome to verify this outreach by contacting the Campos School directly using the phone number or email address listed on the University’s official website. The University will never request sensitive personal information by email.
Through our newly founded Campos School, we now have associate degree options that were not available at the time you were a student here. In view of this, the University recently conducted a review of academic records for former students who completed substantial coursework but did not earn a credential.
This review identified students who are close to completing and students who have already completed the requirements for an associate degree.
C2C is designed for students who have been away from the University for at least three years and who stopped out no earlier than Fall 2018 – the semester our current Core curriculum was introduced. If you’re interested in coming back but don’t meet these criteria, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’d be glad to review your transcript and discuss the options available to you.
Students who received notification that they are just a few courses shy of an associate degree may contact the Campos School to review their academic record and create a plan to enroll in the remaining course requirements.
Students who received notification that they have completed requirements for an associate degree do not need to enroll in additional courses. These students should notify La Salle of their intent to earn the degree.
Yes. Students who need to enroll in additional courses to earn their associate degree pay the adult/evening per credit hour rate. Tuition is charged only for the remaining required courses. Students completing their associate degree may be eligible for financial aid.
Students who received notification they completed requirements for an associate degree will pay a nominal administration processing fee of $100 to cover the cost of transcript review, verification, and degree conferral.
No. There is no obligation to continue beyond the associate degree. However, students who receive an associate degree through this initiative are welcome to explore bachelor’s degree options if they choose and would be eligible to receive merit scholarships for that degree at La Salle.
Yes! If you follow the process to have the degree conferred and apply for graduation, you will be invited to participate in the next scheduled commencement ceremony at La Salle.
