The responsibility for class attendance and completion of assignments is a student’s responsibility. If a student desires to inform anyone of an illness or medical issue that is their prerogative.
In the event that someone requests confirmation of a medical visit, students can always verify with an employer or professor that they were seen in the Student Health Center by following steps:
Click on the “Menu” icon (three bars on the top right)
Choose “Appt. Scheduling”
Select “View Appts.”
Choose the “Previous” tab
A page that displays the details of all previous appointments at the SCH will display.
Students can show this page (in person or email a screenshot) to anyone they desire.
In the event of serious or prolonged illness or injury requiring hospitalization or extended medical confinement, the Student Health Center may appropriately and confidentially notify the Academic Dean of the absence without disclosure of details.
