What activities was the Nominee involved with as a student? While at La Salle I was a section editor of the newspaper, President of the Mock Trial team, on the Honors Program Board, and a part of several other organizations.
How has the Nominee remained active or engaged with the University as an alumnus/a since graduation? I have remained actively engaged with fellow alumni of multiple class years. I have continued to mentor young La Salle students interested in law.
Why does the Nominee want to serve on the Alumni Board of Directors? The Lasallian value of service has been a guiding principle in my life since graduation. I have worked at nonprofits, the state judiciary, and with the federal government. Over the past decade I have volunteered on the boards of local and national nonprofits and advocated for the LGBTQ community at the local, state, and national levels.
A memory I carry with me in my work is when a Christian Brother advised me to look for solutions rather than problems. I hope to bring my experience, advocacy, and passion for service to the Alumni board to help support the next generation of La Salle students.
