How do I join a fraternity or sorority at La Salle?
First, make sure you meet the minimum requirements:
To join a fraternity or sorority, students must complete at least one semester at La Salle. In other words, first-semester freshmen may not join a fraternity or sorority.
Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Please note that some organizations have their own GPA requirements. We encourage interested students to ask chapters about their grade requirements directly.
Intercultural Greek Council (IGC)
To find out more about our IGC chapters, attend the Involvement Fair and our D9 Meet the Greeks events in the fall! Chapters handle intake independently. Feel free to reach out to chapters directly on social media. Chapter Instagram’s are listed on the Meet the Chapters page.
Panhellenic Council
To find out more about our Panhellenic sororities, attend the Involvement Fair and follow the council on Instagram for info about other events The Panhellenic Council hosts their primary recruitment, which lasts about a week, at the beginning of the Spring semester. We recommend going through recruitment at this time, as recruitment during the fall semester is limited and not guaranteed. Registration opens in the middle of the fall semester. Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC)
The fraternities host recruitment at both the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. Recruitment lasts one week, and chapters will host events each night of the week.
