Alumni Association Awards

The Alumni Association hosts their annual Alumni Awards Ceremony in the Fall each year.  This event recognizes outstanding seniors with induction into the Alpha Epsilon Alumni Honor Society, honors a very dedicated alumni volunteer with the John J. Finley, ’24 Award, and bestows the Signum Fidei Medal. The Signum Fidei Medal is awarded to individuals or groups for their contributions to upholding humanitarian principles and the goals and mission of La Salle University and the Christian Brothers. Signum Fidei, meaning “sign of faith,” is the motto of the Christian Brothers.

This previously recorded event will be sent via email to all alumni and Alpha Epsilon inductees on November 19.

This year, the Alumni Association will honor Stephen T. Zarrilli, ’83, former chair of the Board of Trustees and Retired President and CEO of University City Science Center, with the John J. Finley, ’24 Award for his tireless volunteer work and support of La Salle University.

The Alumni Association will also present its highest honor, the Signum Fidei Medal, to Philabundance and Loree Jones, Chief Executive Officer.  Philabundance is one of the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organizations, driving hunger from our communities today and ending hunger for good. Philabundance works with over 350 social service agencies providing food to the community in 9 counties around Philadelphia.

And lastly, we will also recognize outstanding seniors in the Class of 2021 with induction into the Alpha Epsilon Honor Society.
