President Allen began his tenure as La Salle University’s 30th President on April 18, 2022.
In May 2023, the Board of Trustees approved the university’s new strategic plan, Ascend 2023-2028. The six pillars in the plan will set La Salle on the path to be the leading Lasallian educational institution, rooted in the liberal arts and aligned with emerging industries, that prepares students for the challenges and complexities of living and working in a diverse democracy and global society.
Honorary degree recipient David McShane, MFA, ’88, undergraduate student speaker Katie McGovern, ‘26, and graduate speaker Judith Spires, ’75, MBA ’09, will headline the two ceremonies.
Rawan Froukh, ’26, is a caregiver at home and in the workplace. Her nursing degree from La Salle University helped prepare her for both.
This gift will enhance the student learning experience by creating a centralized space in the University’s Connelly Library for academic achievement.
