Why do you want to run for the Alumni Board of Directors?
I’m eager to bring a fresh, forward-looking perspective to the Alumni Board of Directors. While I deeply respect the experience of long-standing members, I believe younger alumni play a crucial role in shaping the next chapter of La Salle’s legacy. My career in strategic program analysis, combined with my experience leading teams and mentoring athletes, has equipped me with the tools to offer innovative solutions and bridge generational insights. I’m passionate about building a stronger alumni network. One that not only honors tradition but actively listens to and empowers the voices of younger explorer alumni who are ready to lead.
What activities were you involved in as a student?
As a student-athlete, I proudly represented La Salle on the varsity Women’s Soccer team and had the honor of serving as team captain during my senior year. That role was more than just a title, it was a responsibility I embraced to foster team unity, lead by example, and hold myself accountable both on and off the field. Beyond athletics, I participated in SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) leadership meetings, where I collaborated with student-athletes and administrators to help shape the future of La Salle Athletics. These experiences taught me the importance of advocacy, communication, and servant leadership, values I continue to carry forward today.
How have you remained active or engaged with La Salle as an alum since graduation?
The La Salle Women’s Soccer program has played a huge role in shaping who I am and I have made it a priority to stay connected to the program. I regularly attend games (both on campus and when the team competes nearby) and I keep in close touch with the coaching staff. In my current role as a high-level club soccer coach, I’ve had the opportunity to introduce players to La Salle as a potential next step in their academic and athletic journeys. It’s my way of giving back to a program that gave so much to me, while continuing to stay engaged with the broader La Salle community. Serving on the Alumni Board would allow me to deepen that engagement and contribute more intentionally to the school’s growth and future, beyond athletics.
Is there any other information you would like to share?
In my current role, I have the privilege of working alongside some of the military’s most strategic and mission-focused leaders, which has sharpened my ability to solve complex problems and contribute to high-level decision making. I’m confident those skills will bring value to the Alumni Board. More importantly, I carry La Salle’s values with me in everything I do: integrity, service, and a commitment to community. I’m proud to be an Explorer and excited about the opportunity to give back in a more meaningful way.
