Why do you want to run for the Alumni Board of Directors?
I want to join the Alumni Board of Directors at La Salle University to give back to the institution that shaped my education and career. This role would allow me to support programs, scholarships, and initiatives that benefit current students while also strengthening the La Salle community. Being part of the board presents an opportunity to expand my professional and personal network, connecting with fellow alumni, faculty, and university leaders. I am eager to help shape the future of La Salle by contributing to policies, fundraising efforts, and mentorship programs that support student success. Additionally, I am passionate about inspiring others by sharing my experiences and guiding young alumni as they navigate their careers. Serving on the board would be a meaningful way to foster school pride, increase alumni engagement, and ensure the continued growth and success of La Salle University.
What activities were you involved in as a student?
During my time at La Salle, I have been actively engaged in a range of activities including being a student-athlete on the NCAA Division 1 Women’s Volleyball team, Club Volleyball with Team Explorers, Sports Reporter for The Collegian, and in-class tutor with Team Lasallians.
How have you remained active or engaged with La Salle as an alum since graduation?
In my professional capacity, I’ve proudly represented La Salle by providing meaningful internship opportunities to graduates pursuing careers in marketing, helping to strengthen the bridge between the School and the broader professional community. I have also stayed in close contact with members of the athletic department, offering insights and support around NIL initiatives, as well as exploring opportunities to contribute to sports marketing education.
Is there any other information you would like to share?
I know how life changing it is to enter a space that not only recognizes your potential but actively nurtures it. Rooted in faith, service, and community, La Salle shaped me into who I am today by providing an environment grounded in purpose and compassion. As a member of the Alumni Board, I am committed to upholding that mission by ensuring La Salle remains a place where all students, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds, feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive, both in and beyond the classroom.
