Why do you want to run for the Alumni Board of Directors?
I share La Salle’s commitment to the principle that all knowledge is practical and empowering, filled with the capacity to transform lives. As a first-generation college graduate, I am grateful for the education La Salle has provided and opportunities it’s afforded. I am especially interested in mentoring students and engaging young alumni.

How have you remained active or engaged with La Salle as an alum since graduation?
I am an active member of the Committee of Explorers (COE), the alumni affinity group of Sigma Phi Lambda, recently completing a term as board secretary. My efforts included a comprehensive database of Sig Phi alumni records, including a portfolio of the fraternity’s impact at La Salle, and team building retreats and administrative, committee, and event playbooks for the actives. I also led engagement efforts across various social media channels to update alumni on fraternity news and events. Currently, I am the chair of the fraternity’s upcoming 90th reunion, working with Freddie Pettit to organize the celebration during this fall’s Homecoming Weekend. Despite leaving the Philadelphia area in 1999, I frequently return to campus to attend Sig Phi reunions, Homecoming Weekend, the Charter Dinner, student retreats, and other social gatherings.
Is there any other information you would like to share?
I grew up in the Kensington and Port Richmond neighborhoods of Philadelphia, attending Nativity B.V.M. grade school and later La Salle College High School. I played lacrosse during my junior and senior years with the team capturing the Catholic Championship my final year. I commuted to La Salle University during my freshman year, majoring in Elementary and Special Education, while also working at the newly opened Connelly Library. I moved into St. Bernard’s Hall my sophomore year and pledged the Sigma Phi Lambda fraternity during the fall of ’94. During my junior year, I was the resident assistant in St. Edward’s Dorm and was also elected president of the fraternity. I lived both just off campus and in East Falls for the remainder of my time at La Salle. My first job after school was working as an outreach coordinator with the Christian Brothers’ Tides Family Services in Providence, Rhode Island. In 2000, I began a 26-year career in streaming media and project management, with stops in Boston, MA, San Francisco and Oakland, CA, and New York, NY. I currently reside in Kennebunk, ME, where I enjoy kayaking, volunteering as a pickleball coordinator, yard work, reading, road trips, and treasure hunting at estate sales and thrift shops. I met my partner, Lorraine Leclare Brittle, through a fellow La Salle and Sig Phi alumnus.
