Why do you want to run for the Alumni Board of Directors? My experience at La Salle University helped make me into the professional I am today, and my goal is to work with the alumni board to ensure that the alumni network and University continue to provide opportunities for alumni to succeed. I am currently a mentor and contact for Sig Phi and Business School members, an annual volunteer “banker” at the Business School Bankers Day, annual participant in Sig Phi La Salle Academy 5k run, and former PwC mentor and student recruiter. I hope to have the opportunity to create and establish new events for alumni to attend with a purpose to grow, personally and professionally, while also expanding their network.
What activities were you involved in as a student? 4-Year BS/MBA Program, Sigma Phi Lambda Fraternity (President), La Salle Academy Sigma Phi Lambda 5K (Chairman), Club Baseball, Financial Accounting Teacher’s Assistant
How have you remained active or engaged with La Salle as an alum since graduation? As a current Alumni Board Member, my main role is the Head of Student and Alumni Engagement Committee. This year we spearheaded an on-campus networking lunch with La Salle Student Ambassadors, current AABOD members, and La Salle Alumni to create an opportunity to connect current students with the La Salle Alumni network.
I remain active as a mentor to students during my time at PricewaterhouseCoopers, past volunteer as a judge in the business school case competition and Banker’s Day, Arena Pledge Ambassador, an annual participant in the La Salle Academy Sigma Phi Lambda 5K.
Is there any other information you would like to share? I truly believe the close-knit culture and hands-on teaching style is a rare and extraordinary collegiate learning experience. I want to do my part in preserving this tradition to ensure all future and current students can experience the learning environment offered by La Salle University to one day carry on the Explorer tradition.
