La Salle’s Early Achievement Program (LEAP) gives high school students the opportunity to take college courses before becoming a full-time undergraduate student. 

As a Distinguished Visiting Professor at De Lasalle University in Manila, Philippines, Professor of Sociology Charles A. Gallagher, Ph.D., saw the extremes of wealth and poverty.

The grant, awarded by the U.S. Department of Education, will fund a comprehensive project of institutional enrichment for the student experience.

The University launched its newly redesigned lasalle.edu website on Thursday, Oct. 5.  

The organization’s president, Luisa Ossa, Ph.D., is a Spanish professor and director of the Black Studies minor at the University.  

The University was recognized as a top performer and saw significant increases in best value and social mobility among other rankings.

The University recently received a variety of accolades including offering a high return on investment while making education accessible to students with the greatest financial need.

La Salle University’s Board of Trustees elected Terrance Coyne, ’04, MBA ’05, as its newest member, effective July 1.
