Patricia Bicknell is an accomplished nurse clinician, leader and educator with a strong clinical practice in medical-surgical nursing. As a board certified advanced practice nurse (ACNS-BC) and Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist, her area of particular interest is chronic illness. Dr. Bicknell’s expertise is implementing a systems approach to health care quality and safety. As a previous Associate Dean, she is experienced in curriculum development and education administration. She holds a national certification as a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) and currently is the coordinator of La Salle’s MSN Clinical Nurse Leader track. Dr. Bicknell is proficient in best practices for online learning, teaching blended, hybrid, and online courses in the undergraduate, graduate, and DNP nursing programs at La Salle. Currently, a clinical nurse specialist consultant, her prior experience includes legal nurse consulting and nursing administration. Dr. Bicknell holds a BSN from Villanova University, a MSN from Widener University, and an Ed.D. from Wilmington University.
