As Associate Dean for the Nursing Programs in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, Dr. Czekanski serves as the Chief Nurse Administrator for the Nursing Programs and oversees the continued development, implementation, promotion, and daily operation of the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.  Dr. Czekanski joined La Salle in 2008 as Director of the Graduate and RN-BSN programs. As Director, Dr. Czekanski facilitated the launch of a fully online R.N. to BSN program, a dual MSN/MPH degree program, as well as a newly approved Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP Program. Prior to that, Dr. Czekanski was an Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing at Thomas Jefferson University.

Dr. Czekanski's scholarship addresses end of life care and dementia caregiving, and she is particularly interested in the experience of people caring for those with Alzheimer’s disease as they transition to the caregiving role.
