Margaret McGuinness is Executive Director of the Office of Mission Integration and Professor of Religion. She received her AB and MTS from Boston University, and her Ph.D. from Union Theological Seminary, New York. Prior to teaching at La Salle, she was on the faculty of Cabrini College for twenty years.

Dr. McGuinness area of expertise is Catholicism in the United States. She has published on devotional live in the United States, and the history of women religious. In addition, she serves as co-editor of American Catholic Studies, and is Vice President/President-elect of the American Catholic Historical Association.
