Two nursing students at La Salle University have been awarded scholarships from the Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania (NFP), to support them as they continue their studies.

Meredith E. Kneavel, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic leader, researcher, and educator with a specialization in biopsychology and neuroscience whose career has spanned over two decades.

The clinic offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment services for both adults and children addressing a wide range of issues.  

Imone Harris, ’28, M.S. ’29, is looking forward to beginning her La Salle journey as a nutrition and dietetics major this fall. 

Students in the Class of 2028 are visiting 20th and Olney this summer for new student orientation.  

Litia Gans, ‘20, MSN ‘24, and Jaida Davenport-Gans, ’24, supporting each other through their MSN and BSN programs, respectively.

Christie Perkins, ’24, is a nursing student with a minor in public health.

Lisa Abdul-Haqq, DNP, M.A. ’09, MSN ’21, CRNP, FCPP, works tirelessly to help underserved communities navigate the U.S. healthcare system.

They were among the 27 new members of prominent physicians, experts from public health and academia, and civic leaders.
