Over $2 million was raised on La Salle’s 13th Annual Day of Giving, held on April 28.

The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University and La Salle University have entered into a transfer agreement to transition the Center’s operations to The Nonprofit Center, a new Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation operating under fiscal sponsorship of TriCounty Community Network, Inc. effective immediately. 

Honorary degree recipient David McShane, MFA, ’88, undergraduate student speaker Katie McGovern, ‘26, and graduate speaker Judith Spires, '75, MBA '09, will headline the two ceremonies. 

The partnership will open seamless pathways for Nazareth graduates through admissions opportunities and scholarships.

Moore was the first Black men’s basketball player at La Salle and helped the team win the 1952 NIT Championship.

The event, taking place on April 8 at 5 p.m., will feature student art inspired by public health issues. The evening will include a panel discussion with professionals from both the art and public health fields. 

The $40,000 grant will be used to reframe the conversation around sexual violence and help keep the campus community safe.

William J. Burns, '78, is widely regarded as one of the most distinguished and respected American statesmen of the last century, having served six presidents of both parties.

The funding will be used to upgrade lighting throughout the museum, helping to preserve the artwork and enhance the visitor experience.
