The Constitution is celebrating its 238th birthday, and La Salle University is hosting a panel discussion to help recognize the event. The campus community is invited to attend Unchecked: Separation of Powers and its Viability. Would Madison Recognize It Today? on Tuesday, September 16 in the Holroyd Atrium from 12:30 to 2 p.m. 

The 2025 Franklin Medal Laureate in Chemistry Naomi Halas, Ph.D., HON ‘07, ‘80, fell in love with chemistry at La Salle University. That love has led to prestigious awards, a career in research and teaching, and transformative discoveries in treatments for prostate cancer.

While the sky was cloudy on Thursday August 21, the mood was anything but as over 700 new Explorers settled into their new home at La Salle University. This year’s class represents the largest group of first-time, full-time students since 2018. 

La Salle University and the Nonprofit Center at La Salle University had the opportunity to partner with Senator Art Haywood and Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN) to offer the WorkReady VIP Program to 12 students attending Building 21 high school.

Delaney Cortes, ‘26, was awarded a $15,000 scholarship by the Public company Accounting Oversight Board for the 2025-26 academic year.  

Over the course of six weeks, 82 first-year students participated in credit-bearing courses, enrichment workshops, and leadership development activities designed to ease their transition into college life.
