La Salle University is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Jarvinen, Ph.D., as the incoming interim provost and vice president of academic affairs, with her tenure to begin on June 1, 2026. 

President Daniel J. Allen, Ph.D., will work alongside leaders from across Greater Philadelphia to solve complex challenges, expand economic opportunity, and strengthen community support systems. 

The newest members bring a combined 80 years of finance, business, marketing, and consulting experience to their roles.

Cameron B. Wesson, Ph.D., provost and vice president of academic affairs, has accepted the role of president at West Virginia’s Shepherd University effective July 1, 2026.
