Students may apply at the Registrar’s Office for a transcript of their collegiate work. Official Transcripts bearing the signature of the Registrar and the seal of the University are sent, at the request of the student, to other institutions and organizations. Pricing varies by transcript order type and is detailed below.
Students may order their official transcript online to be delivered either by standard mail, express shipping methods, or electronically. Electronic orders are authorized through the National Student Clearinghouse in a digitally signed and secured PDF. When you order a transcript through this service, you can track your request online and receive email notifications when the transcript is generated and delivered electronically. The tracking mechanism also allows you to monitor when an electronic transcript is actually opened by the intended recipient. PLEASE NOTE: For fastest delivery of transcripts, please choose eTranscripts for electronic delivery. All other transcript order types will experience delays of 5-7 days in processing times.
An electronic or e-transcript is a digitally signed and secured PDF sent on behalf of La Salle University through the National Student Clearinghouse. Transcripts delivered through the National Student Clearinghouse Server are considered Official as they are certified by a digital signature and contain security delivered by the Adobe®
We suggest that you confirm with your recipient that they will accept electronic transcripts before you order one. Most colleges and universities will accept e-transcripts. You should ensure that you have the correct email address for delivery. Students can order e-transcripts for themselves, but they are only considered official in the PDF format, not printed.
The transcript will expire after thirty days and will no longer be able to view, this is for security purposes and should be considered when placing an order for an electronic transcript.
You will receive a separate email notification informing you that the transcript has been retrieved by the recipient.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund the cost of a transcript due to the recipient either not opening or not being able to open an electronic transcript. We recommend you first check with the recipient before ordering an electronic copy to make sure it’s safe to send.
To properly view an e-transcript, it must be opened on a computer, not a phone or tablet. The computer must have the latest version of Adobe® Acrobat or Reader. Instructions for downloading this free product will be included in the transcript order. Other PDF opening questions can be found through the National Student Clearinghouse.
We do not recommend this. Although the PDF can be attached, it will required a username and password to open on the other end. It is recommended that you check with the recipient before ordering an electronic transcript and have the e-Transcript delivered directly to their email address.
The University will issue transcripts within 3-5 business days of receiving the request. However, delays may occur during peak periods. Each time a person wants to request his/her transcript through the mail, the following information is needed:

Students looking to obtain a transcript in person may place the order in the Bursar’s Office of The Lawrence Administration Building – Room 107 between 9 a.m.—4 p.m., Monday-Friday. Please provide picture identification and the transcript fee.
