La Salle University announced the appointment of R. Scott Mattingly, Ed.D., as its new assistant vice president of student success, effective Sept. 22, 2025.

The Multicultural and International Center has moved to the Union third floor, where Explorers from all backgrounds can build community.  

La Salle University is gearing up for Parent and Family Weekend 2025. The event takes place from Friday, September 26 through Sunday, September 28. Families will reunite with their Explorers for three days filled with campus traditions, Philadelphia adventures, and countless opportunities to create lasting memories.

In a time when confidence in higher education is being tested, La Salle University stands as proof that universities are not just centers of knowledge, but also drivers of prosperity, resilience, and community renewal for not only Philadelphia and Pennsylvania alike, but globally.

The latest rankings of La Salle University in Washington Monthly's 2025 College Guide and Rankings confirms the University's national and regional position as a top institution and destination.

After a morning of sitting in classes, offices, or meetings, La Salle University students, staff, and faculty can now head to room 301 on the third floor of the Union to work off some of their energy.  

The Constitution is celebrating its 238th birthday, and La Salle University is hosting a panel discussion to help recognize the event. The campus community is invited to attend Unchecked: Separation of Powers and its Viability. Would Madison Recognize It Today? on Tuesday, September 16 in the Holroyd Atrium from 12:30 to 2 p.m. 

While the sky was cloudy on Thursday August 21, the mood was anything but as over 700 new Explorers settled into their new home at La Salle University. This year’s class represents the largest group of first-time, full-time students since 2018. 

Over the course of six weeks, 82 first-year students participated in credit-bearing courses, enrichment workshops, and leadership development activities designed to ease their transition into college life.

Associate Professor of History Lyman Stebbins, Ph.D., has been announced as the new director of La Salle's Honors Program.
